June 3, 2022: Update For Gboard Stickers

Google has announced several new features that are coming to Android phones, including updates for Gboard stickers. Google is bringing custom text stickers to all Android devices, after first launching them on Pixel phones in March. When you type, you’ll now be able to turn text into a custom sticker. Users will be able to type what they want to say and then select a design to share their message. 

March 14, 2022: Grammar correction feature

Google’s Gboard keyboard app is rolling out a new grammar correction feature that helps to detect grammatical errors and offer suggestions while typing. This new feature will alert users in real-time by underlining the error in blue and making suggestions on how to fix the error. The app is also adding more than 2,000 new emoji mashups for the Emoji Kitchen.

• Gesture cursor control: Slide your finger across the space bar to move the cursor

• Gesture delete: Slide left from the delete key to quickly delete multiple words

• Make the number row always available (enable in Settings → Preferences → Number Row)

• Symbols hints: Show quick hints on your keys to access symbols with a long press (enable in Settings → Preferences → Long press for symbols)
