Features
-
Mobile Only: One of the most differentiating key features of Quibi: Users can only watch its lineup of original movies and shows on a mobile device.
-
Snackable Episodes: All premium content on Quibi is in snackable episodes of under 10 minutes throughout the day.
-
Turnstyle: Quibi's shows work in both horizontal and vertical video modes. This works thanks to a feature called Turnstyle, which lets you rotate your phone 90 degrees for a seamless transition, so you can watch a show from a different angle, as Quibi shows are shot for both portrait and landscape orientations.

Quibi vs. Tiktok
At the first sight many think that Quibi and Tiktok are similar. However, in regards to the content they offer, they are quite different, though both provide short videos.
Quibi streams shows and movies which are filmed with stars like Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones), Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games), Tituss Burgess (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) and Chrissy Teigen (Lip Sync Battle). The content on Tiktok is mainly produced by who we may call influencers, or even ordinary people like you and me.
Besides, Quibi is made up of a wider range of content than TikTok is, offering dramas, reality TV, news, comedy and more. TikTok, on the other hand, is more focused on pairing music or soundtracks with live performers.
Last but not least, Tiktok is free, but with ads. Quibi requires a subscription.
